Station 162 sets a national model by providing affordable housing and services for two populations with overlapping needs. Housing Development Center worked with owner QUAD Inc., DAO Architecture and Walsh Construction to develop this project, which opened to residents last winter in Gresham.

At Station 162, low-income seniors and adults with severe physical disabilities live independently in a neighborhood setting. Residents have access to round-the-clock personal-attendant care services, and pay no more than 30 percent of their incomes toward rent. Apartment units are designed to higher accessibility standards than those required by the American with Disabilities Act. Learn more about Station 162.

We're pleased to share these photos of Station 162 and some of the people who live there. They were taken last month by Portland photographer Shawn Records.
