Loans

Established in 2009, the HDC Community Fund provides loans tailored to the needs of affordable housing developers. Totaling $400,000 to date, our loans have supported the creation of 163 units of affordable housing and 25,000 square feet of service-facility space, helping to leverage $38.4 million in additional financing. And there's more good news: A recent grant from the U.S. Treasury, which doubled the size of our loan pool to roughly $1 million, will enable the HDC Community Fund to increase our loan sizes and support even more worthy projects in the future.
