Liz Winchester, Senior Asset Management Project Manager

Liz Winchester brings a solutions-oriented approach and an equity lens to her work supporting organizations to create healthy, sustainable, inclusive affordable housing operations. Liz’s work as an asset management trainer and consultant at HDC is informed by a decade of experience working as an asset manager for affordable housing owners in Oregon. Her training in architectural design and real estate development broadens her perspective on how decisions made during project development impact future operations. Prior to joining HDC in December 2021, Liz was an asset manager at Northwest Housing Alternatives, where she oversaw an affordable housing portfolio of 835 units in 16 multifamily projects across Oregon. Previously, at ROSE Community Development, Liz asset managed 350 affordable housing units and assisted the development of single-family and multifamily rental properties. Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts in architectural studies from Tufts University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and a master’s in real estate development from Portland State University. She has completed additional training and certification in project management, DEI work, and asset management, including extensive coursework offered through NeighborWorks America and CHAM.
