Meredith Bowie, Director of Finance & Operations and Community Fund Director

Meredith Bowie enjoys contributing her administrative and finance skills to an organization that makes a difference in people’s lives by expanding access to high-quality affordable housing. A certified nonprofit accounting professional (CNAP), Meredith Bowie oversees finances, human resources, and legal and regulatory compliance for HDC and manages staff responsible for administrative support and IT. In her secondary position as HDC Community Fund director, Meredith is responsible for deploying the fund’s $2.3 million in low-interest loan capital to help affordable housing and community facility developments get off the ground. A member of HDC’s management team, Meredith plays a leadership role in organizational business planning, budgeting, governance, and administration. Prior to joining HDC in 2016, Meredith served as director of finance and operations for the Monterey Museum of Art in Monterey, California. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of California, Santa Cruz.
